Into the Wild leads Actors Guild nominations



The nominations for the Screen Actors Gild Awards have been announced with the Sean Penn-directed 'Into the Wild' lead the shortlist.
The film's star, Emile Hirsch, is nominated for the Charles Herbert Best Worker award, with co-stars Hal Holbrook and Catherine Keener shortlisted in the Best Support Actor and Actress categories severally.
The sick of 'Into the Wild' are too nominated for the Best Cast award.
Shortlisted with Hirsch for Charles Herbert Best Histrion ar George Clooney ('Michael Clayton'), Daniel Day-Lewis ('There Will Be Blood'), Ryan Gosling ('Lars and the Real Girl') and Viggo Mortensen ('Eastern Promises').
Cate Blanchett ('Elizabeth: The Golden Age'), Julie Agatha Christie ('Away from Her'), Marion Cotillard ('La Contend en Rose'), Angelina Jolie ('A Right Heart') and Ellen Page ('Juno') are nominated for Charles Herbert Best Actress.
Joining Holbrook on the Best Supporting Worker short list ar Casey Affleck ('The Assassination of Jesse James by the Noel Coward Henry Martyn Robert Ford'), Javier Bardem ('No Country for Old Men'), Tommy Rose Louise Hovick Daniel Jones ('No Land for Old Men') and Gobbler Wilkinson ('Michael Clayton').
Keener is joined on the C. H. Best Support Actress shortlist by Cate Blanchett ('I'm Non There'), Ruby Dee ('American Gangster'), Amy Ryan ('Gone Baby Gone') and Tilda Swinton ('Michael Clayton').
Along with the stars of 'Into the Wild', the actors in '3:10 to Yuma', 'American Gangster', 'Hairspray' and 'No Country for Old Men' ar also nominated for Best Vagabond.
The winners volition be announced on William Ashley Sunday 27 January.
